GENERAL SCOPE

AISI 4130 low alloy steel containing nominally 0.3% Carbon, 1% Chromium and 0.2% Molybdenum is widely used in oil patch applications, however it is commonly used in various industries due to its high strength, toughness and weldability. It is found in applications requiring strength to weight ratio resistance to strength including aerospace, automotive and machine tool manufacture. 

TM Steels can provide all materials produced to bespoke customer requirements. We project manage your raw material or semi finished material requirements, including Sawing,  Heat Treatment, Testing, Rough Machining, Hardness Testing, Ultrasonic Examination and certification, including BS EN 10204 3.1 & BS EN 10204 3.1 Witness documentation packages. We use an approved list of European Mills, and can offer material with PED / REACH & ROHS approval & UKAS accredited Testing.
