4340 is a low alloy steel that is used in downhole tools and hangers that require very high tensile strength with excellent impact resistance.

TM Steels can provide all materials produced to bespoke customer requirements. We project manage your raw material or semi finished material requirements, including Sawing,  Heat Treatment, Testing, Rough Machining, Hardness Testing, Ultrasonic Examination and certification, including BS EN 10204 3.1 & BS EN 10204 3.1 Witness documentation packages. We use an approved list of European Mills, and can offer material with PED / REACH & ROHS approval & UKAS accredited Testing.
